Georgetown Lake Maternity Shoot
What an amazing day meeting Brianna and Ken at Georgetown Lake for their maternity shoot. As a Colorado native, I knew that shooting in March can be a bit of a gamble. You never know if you'll get snow, rain, or a surprise burst of sunshine. Luckily, Brianna and Ken were up for the adventure!
Despite the frozen lake, it took no time at all for Brianna and Ken to warm up (pun intended)—but seriously, they were total naturals in front of the camera! The overcast sky actually worked in their favor, casting a soft, dreamy light that made every shot look like something out of a fairy tale.
As they strolled along the lake shore, holding hands and sharing sweet glances, it was impossible not to feel their joy. You could tell they were in their own little world, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little one. And let's not forget the weather—Colorado did its thing with a mix of light rain and fleeting moments of sunshine, adding a touch of drama to an already magical day.
What struck me most about Brianna and Ken's shoot was their genuine connection. They laughed, they hugged, and they embraced each other with so much warmth and affection. It was clear that Georgetown Lake wasn't just a backdrop for them—it was a place where they could celebrate their love and the new adventure they were about to embark on.
By the end of shoot, the sun peeked through the clouds, and we said our goodbyes. The photos captured not just moments, but memories that Brianna and Ken will cherish forever. Georgetown Lake may have been overcast that day, but for this beautiful couple, it was nothing short of perfect—a lovely time filled with love, laughter, and the unpredictable charm of Colorado in March.
